Under 15s claim third consecutive win

Warriors Under 15s produced a stunning comeback to defeat Exeter Chiefs this afternoon at Sandy Park.

Winger Isaac Blake-Mills dived over in the corner with less than a minute of the match remaining to help his side secure a 22-17 victory.

Warriors had gone 10-0 up in the first period after hooker Bec Cutting crossed the whitewash twice.

Exeter drew level with a try either side of half-time before taken the lead with their third try of the afternoon.

Warriors continued to battle hard, however, and Blake-Mills’ converted score levelled the scores late on before the young wing got his second at the death.

Coach Chim Gale said: “I was really proud of our defensive effort and commitment against a very strong side.

“We were under the pump for long spells of the match but our line speed was exceptional in defence and attack and I was delighted with how the players conducted themselves.”
