Bishop Fleming renew partnership with Warriors

Worcester Warriors are delighted to announce their continued association with official partner Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants as club sponsors.

Bishop Fleming’s Worcester office, which began their partnership with Warriors in 1996, is one of the club’s longest standing sponsors, and the two have had a partnership throughout the whole of the professional era.

During that period they have acted as the club’s auditors and tax advisers. In fact the firm have acted for Cecil Duckworth since 1962 and their relationship partner Ian Smith is an ex Worcester first-team player.

Following the retirement of Craig Gillies, who Bishop Fleming supported as a long-term sponsor, the firm is now sponsoring Scotland international Euan Murray.

Warriors Chief Executive Charles Cameron said: “We are really pleased that our relationship with Bishop Fleming has gone from strength to strength.

“The firm has been with the club through thick and thin and enhance their excellent professional work by making great use of Sixways for networking, conferencing and, of course, supporting the team.

“We also appreciate the help they provide as one of the major sponsors of the Warriors Community Foundation.”

Partner in charge of Bishop Fleming’s Worcester office Ian Smith added: “Warriors and Sixways Stadium are such an integral part of the local community so it seems natural for Bishop Fleming to play a key role in their professional network.”

“We’ve been part of the wider Warriors team for a very long time and we look forward to being an official partner for many years to come.

“With all the ground work going in with Dean Ryan and his new coaching team, the next few years should see the Warriors climb to the status in the Premiership and Europe that Cecil’s long-term vision deserves. We look forward to celebrating when the club gets there.”
