Warriors’ 2013 charity shirt available to buy

Warriors’ 2013 charity shirt arrived earlier this week and you can get your hands on one now!

The shirt will be worn in the final match of the year against Saracens at Sixways on Saturday 28 December and can be purchased from Sixways Store and the Warriors Crowngate Rugby Store.

This year’s shirt has been designed by Jake Abbott, other Warriors stars and children at Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Warriors Community Foundation Manager Carol Hart said: “The design has words which capture the meaning of Acorns from the families who use their services.

“These words are printed on the arms of the shirt and the colour was chosen by the children.

“It has a duck design, which is particularly important, as it featured on nearly all of the draft designs created by the players and children.”

Warriors wing Josh Drauniniu, who modelled the shirt to the press earlier this week, said: “This season’s shirt looks really good and the lads are looking forward to playing in it against Saracens.

“We have a very close relationship with Acorns and the people down there are fantastic so hopefully this shirt will fly off the shelf and raise a nice sum of money for them.”

You can show your support by ordering your shirt now. They are priced at £55 and are the ideal Christmas gift for any Warriors fan!

The actual playing shirts will be signed and auctioned in the New Year to raise funds for Acorns and the amazing work they do for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
