Clarke joins Leeds Carnegie on loan

Jon Clarke has joined Leeds Carnegie on loan ahead of their Greene King IPA Championship clash with Nottingham at Headingley Carnegie on Saturday.

The centre has played 23 games for Warriors and scored a try on his debut against London Irish last September.

The former Heineken Cup finalist has started more than 100 games in the Premiership. He has joined Leeds Carnegie on loan for the remainder of the season and will be in contention for the squad that travels to Plymouth Albion next week.

Clarke, who has played for England Saxons, joined Worcester at the start of the 2012/13 season from Northampton Saints.

He played a total of 165 games for the Saints and scored 32 tries having originally joined their academy a decade ago when his former club, Bristol, were relegated from the Premiership.
