Cosgrove starts against All Blacks Under 20s

Warriors Academy prop Jack Cosgrove started for Scotland Under 20s in their final IRB Junior World Championship pool match with hosts New Zealand today.

The loosehead played 57 minutes for his country, who were beaten 54-7 by the All Blacks at the ECOLight Stadium in Pukekohe.

Despite Scotland losing all their pool matches, they will now go on to contest in the ninth-place semi-final against Italy on Sunday 15 June.

Cosgrove, 19, was one of seven Warriors Academy players to make their first-team debuts last season, when he came on against Sale Sharks in the LV= Cup and was also a regular for Worcester Cavaliers throughout the 2013/14 campaign.
