Worcester Warriors face a testing British & Irish Cup campaign for the 2014/15 season where they will come up against Irish side Munster ‘A’, neighbours Moseley, and Nottingham Rugby.
All six pool matches are set to take place before the Christmas period, with the competition getting underway on the weekend commencing October 10.
Warriors will start their campaign in Pool 3 with a trip to fellow Greene King IPA Championship side Nottingham before welcoming Munster to Sixways the subsequent weekend in the first home cup match of the season.
An away trip to local side Moseley follows in the last weekend of October, which will be the second of four meetings between the two sides during the 2014/15 campaign.
In Round Four, Warriors will host Moseley on the weekend commencing November 28 before travelling to Ireland for the return clash with Munster the following weekend.
The last pool match will take place at Sixways with Nottingham on the weekend beginning December 13 for the third of four meetings between the sides over the course of the season.
Should Warriors prevail from their pool, the quarter-finals are set to take place on the weekend commencing January 23.
The semi-finals will be on the weekend of March 13 while the showpiece event takes place on the weekend commencing April 3.
Warriors Interim Chief Executive Anthony Glossop said: “The British and Irish Cup will provide some interesting encounters during the early parts of the season.
“There are some strong opposition in the competition with Leinster ‘A’ having been crowned champions for the last two campaigns and we are looking forward to coming up against a side with such fine rugby pedigree as Munster.
“It is fantastic that we have more Midlands derbies to look forward to against both Moseley and Nottingham and we will learn a great deal about them as we look to challenge for honours on both the domestic and cup fronts.”
