Championship XV – Centres & Fly-Halves

This week, we’ll update you with all the players that will be on show for the Championship XV ahead of this Sunday’s clash with Rugby World Cup side Canada at Sixways (kick-off 3.15pm).

Today we bring you the centres and fly-halves…

FLY-HALVES

DAN MUGFORD (Nottingham Rugby)

Promising fly-half Dan Mugford joined Nottingham Rugby last summer and will be looking to ignite the outside backs with his excellent distribution skills and running game.

Mugford has also played at London Scottish and Exeter Chiefs before a stint at Plymouth Albion.

The number-ten kicked six out of six against Warriors in the British & Irish Cup in October, including three tremendous punts from the halfway line and inside his own half.

LAWRENCE RAYNER (Plymouth Albion)

Former Bedford Blues fly-half Lawrence Rayner is in his first season at Plymouth Albion.

The Lincolnshire-born stand-off has represented England Counties and also featured for Spalding and Old Albanians.

CENTRES

GREG KING (Moseley)

Greg King used to be on the books at Warriors before moving to Moseley for the 2011/12 season.

The 26-year-old centre has represented England at Under 18, 19 and 20 level.

Former Hartpury College student King amassed 66 appearances for Moseley in his first three seasons  at the club, running in five tries.
