Warriors flanker Richard de Carpentier helped England Sevens to a fourth-placed finish at the weekend’s final round of the HSBC World Sevens Series at Twickenham.
The success means that Team GB will have a Sevens team at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016.
De Carpentier, who was an integral part of Warriors' British & Irish Cup-winning side, featured regularly for England throughout last weekend's games including a try against World Series winners Fiji.
England opened their tournament with thumping wins over Kenya and Brazil before being pipped by Scotland on Saturday.
But they made it to the quarter-finals where they overcame New Zealand.
A tough semi-final followed against USA – who went on to win the event – before Fiji beat them 26-12 in the battle for third place.
The result means that England finished fourth in the overall World Series Standings behind winners Fiji, second-placed South Africa and third-placed New Zealand.
England results at Twickenham Sevens:
England 40-0 Kenya
England 56-7 Brazil
England 19-22 Scotland
New Zealand 17-21 England
