Premiership Rugby have today confirmed the fixtures for the first six rounds of the Aviva Premiership Rugby season, with Warriors’ game at Sale Sharks now being switched to Friday 23 October (kick-off 8pm).
It has also been confirmed that Warriors will be shown live on the BT Sport cameras in two of the first six rounds of the season – where 18 matches will be broadcast live on the channel.
With the competition starting six weeks later than normal – due to the Rugby World Cup – Premiership Rugby and BT Sport have taken the unprecedented step of confirming the fixtures a full 13 weeks ahead of the first match on 16 October.
This decision has been made to allow both supporters and the 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs time to plan for what is expected to be a compelling new season.
The television selections have presented newly-promoted Warriors with the perfect start in front of the BT Sport cameras, against the champions of 2014, Northampton Saints (Friday 16 October).
And they will be on the big screen once again on Saturday 28 November when they take on reigning champions Saracens in the Twickenham Double Header.
