European Rugby have today confirmed the dates for Warriors’ fixtures in Rounds 1-4 of the European Challenge Cup.
The news means that Warriors’ opening European game in the new campaign will take place at Sixways on Saturday 14 November against Top 14 side La Rochelle.
The French outfit finished ninth in the Top 14 last season and boast players such as France prop Uini Atonio and South African Ricky Januarie.
The following weekend will see a trip to Italy for Dean Ryan’s men to face Zebre on Saturday 21 November.
The Italians have internationals Marco Bortolami and Kelly Haimona among their ranks alongside All Black Mils Muliaina.
And in December, supporters will be treated to a Christmas cracker with two mouth-watering encounters against neighbours Gloucester Rugby.
The first derby will take place on Thursday 10 December at Sixways before the return fixture at Kingsholm on Thursday 17 December, with both clashes to be shown live on Sky Sports.
Fixtures for Rounds 5 and 6 of the competition will be announced after Round 4.

“We’re delighted to have back-to-back games with local rivals Gloucester which will no doubt throw up two tight matches in the warm-up to Christmas.”
