TEAM NEWS: Eden returns for Cavaliers trip to Kingsholm

Fly-half Tiff Eden will make his long-awaited return to action tonight as Worcester Cavaliers take on Gloucester United at Kingsholm in the Aviva A League (kick-off 7.30pm).

The Academy graduate hasn’t featured for the first-team since the B&I Cup Final victory back in April where he slotted 15 points.

An exciting young Worcester line-up sees Heath Stevens recalled from his loan spell at Nottingham Rugby while a pacey back three sees Perry Humphreys at full-back joined by wingers Josh Adams and Hartpury’s Jonas Mikalcius.

Ravai Fatiaki joins Stevens in the centre while JB Bruzulier gets the nod at scrum-half.

Loosehead prop Ryan Bower will skipper the side from the front row where he’s joined by Ben Sowrey and Gareth Milasinovich.

Dan Sanderson and Darren O’Shea start in the second row while Mat Gilbert, Sam Ripper-Smith and Huw Taylor occupy the back row.

Marco Mama is named among the replacements as is Loughborough Students' George de Cothi.

Three Pears Academy Manager Mark Hewitt said: “A lot of this group have had some game-time in the first-team and tonight provides them with another good opportunity to showcase what they’ve learnt in recent weeks.

“We’ll be looking to bounce back from our disappointing performance last time out in Newcastle and are relishing the clash with our neighbours down the M5.”
