Warriors Under 18s take on Newcastle Falcons Under 18s at Sixways this Saturday (|kick-off 1pm) in a bid to secure a place at the Aviva Premiership Under 18 Academy Finals Day.
It will be the last of Warriors’ six regular fixtures in the league, in which they can still finish in second place – but only needing to secure a top-three spot to make Finals Day.
Three Pears Academy Manager Mark Hewitt has been left without young stars in Jamie Shillcock, who is away on England Under 20 duties, as well as lock Justin Clegg and centre Will Butler.
But six Warriors AASE players are named in the squad along with Three Pears Academy loosehead James Page.
Hewitt said: “It’s one big last push for the boys and we’ll be going out to try and get a bonus-point win.
“We’ve come a long way this year and it would top it off if we could make a first-ever trip to Finals Day.”
The match will take place on either the A&H Pitch or Weston’s Pitch 4 at Sixways dependent on pitch conditions.
Warriors will have to wait till next weekend (Sunday 31 January) to learn their fate as others in the league complete their games. To see the league table click here.
