Warriors back row Marco Mama has won the Franco Florenzi Player of the Month competition for January!
As picked by you the supporters, Mama enjoyed a whopping 47 per cent of the votes, ahead of prop Na’ama Leleimalefaga (17 per cent) in second place and Luke Baldwin (11 per cent).
Mama, who has featured 14 times already this season, bagged his first Aviva Premiership try in January’s match against Harlequins at Sixways and went on to play in every game throughout the month.
The flanker picks up a spanking new trophy for his performances as well as a new watch courtesy of our sponsor Franco Florenzi.
Also among the votes was Nick Schonert (7 per cent), with Cooper Vuna, Tevita Cavubati Niall Annett, also chipping in.
Voting for February’s Player of the Month will open on Monday 29 February.
