Warriors go green with Blackpole Recycling Ltd

Warriors can today confirm details of a new commercial partnership with Blackpole Recycling Ltd that will see the Worcestershire-based company feature on the sleeve of the Warriors home and away jersey for the next three years.

Worcester’s leading recycling company, Blackpole Recycling Ltd, are one of a growing number of businesses to recognise the benefit of a relationship with Warriors, graduating in recent seasons from advertising and player sponsorship packages to become a premium commercial partner through kit sponsorship.

A family-run business established in 2001, Blackpole Recycling has grown considerably and now handles over 10,000 tonnes of waste per month, servicing many business and waste management companies throughout Worcestershire.

Managing Director of Blackpole Recycling Ltd Jonathan Dew said: “Having been a fan of Warriors for a number of years and purchased advertising and hospitality packages in previous seasons, we’re very impressed and excited about the progress of Warriors recently which is why we want to offer our support to the team.

“There is an obvious synergy with both companies going from strength to strength and we like to support local success stories.

“I know how important it is for a Club like Warriors to work with local businesses like ourselves in order to help each other meet targets both environmentally and commercially.”

Warriors Partnership Manager Leyton Williams added: “It gives me enormous pleasure to be able to welcome Blackpole Recycling onto our jersey.

“Not only will they be supporting the team by having their logo on the sleeve of the Warriors shirt, they will also be ensuring Warriors are cutting down on their carbon footprint by recycling 97 per cent of the waste at Sixways.

“It has been great to see our relationship grow over recent seasons and we look forward to working closely in partnership with Blackpole Recycling for many years to come.”
