Sixways will host Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus Live in its first ever UK outdoor stadium tour this Friday 3 June!
The world’s biggest live action sports show will visit 11 first-time destinations including Sixways, as fans from across the region will be given the opportunity to see the most explosive event in extreme sports, witnessing death-defying stunts, amazing tricks and unbelievable world firsts that have yet to be seen (even in competition).
Led by American motorsports competitor and stunt performer Travis Pastrana, Nitro’s cast of daredevils will perform the most incredible choreographed riding routines ever in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX, skate and much more.
Highlights include the explosive ‘Nitro Bomb’ featuring all riders flipping simultaneously, plus, during FMX trains, riders will slice through the air wheel-to-wheel, merely inches apart.
Nitro Circus athletes will also brave the famous 40-foot Giganta ramp, which will launch a host of ridiculous contraptions like trikes, a penny farthing, a lounge chair, a bathtub and much more.
Nitro Circus CEO and Creative Director Michael Porra said: “Our insane group of athletes perform stunts that you literally cannot see anywhere else on the planet. We’re constantly pushing each other to break records and do things that people previously thought was physically impossible.”
Warriors Chief Executive Jim O’Toole said: “We’re looking forward to hosting this action-packed show, which will arguably be one of the largest and most awesome public events in recent times for the Worcester area.”
All of this mayhem in one show, requiring more than 15 trucks and 50 crew members to transport and set up, adds up to a theatrical spectacular area fans have never experienced before.
Nitro Circus Live has sold out legendary arenas such as the O2 in London, AccorHotels Arena in Paris and Madison Square Garden in New York.
