Bregvadze helps Georgia in unbeaten Pacific islands tour

Jaba Bregvadze finished his summer international duties on a high with Georgia as the Lelos completed their first-ever Pacific islands tour unbeaten.

On Friday, Bregvadze came up against Warriors teammate Tevita Cavubati, with Georgia earning a 14-3 victory over Fiji to back-up their 19-19 draw with Samoa and 23-20 triumph over Tonga earlier this month.

Warriors hooker Bregvadze, who made 17 appearances for his Club side last season, started all three games for Georgia as they enjoyed a successful first-ever, three-match tour in the Pacific.

Despite Fiji's Cavubati ending up on the losing side during Friday's clash, the giant lock did help steer his country to the Pacific Nations Cup title with wins over Samoa and Tonga earlier in June.

Meanwhile, James Johnston has now finished his summer international commitments after playing for Samoa against Georgia and Fiji.
