Warriors Development XV to host Bristol and RGC 1404

A Warriors Development XV will take on Bristol Rugby and Welsh side RGC 1404 in August – giving fans a first glimpse of the brand-new Artificial Grass Pitch at Sixways.

Both games will be free of charge for supporters to come and see the latest crop of young Warriors talent in their first home outings of the 2016/17 campaign.

Carl Hogg’s side embark on a high-altitude training camp in Tignes, France, at the start of August before taking on European giants ASM Clermont Auvergne on Friday 12 August.

Then on Thursday 18 August a Warriors Development XV will take on Bristol Rugby – in what will be the first action on the new Sixways surface (kick-off 7.30pm).

The game will see a first reunion with Bristol since 2015’s incredible Championship play-off final.

Warriors will travel to the Channel Islands to face Jersey on Saturday 20 August, looking to avenge their defeat back in the Championship in 2015.

And it’s back to Sixways on Wednesday 24 August for a second Warriors Development XV fixture against Colwyn Bay’s RGC 1404 (kick-off TBC).

The final pre-season clash sees a trip to Cork as Warriors battle Donncha O’Callaghan’s former club Munster Rugby.

Warriors’ Aviva Premiership campaign finally gets underway on Saturday 3 September with a trip to Twickenham to face Saracens in the London Double Header, before we’re back at Sixways for the local derby with Gloucester Rugby on Friday 9 September (kick-off 7.45pm).

There’s so much to look forward to at Sixways and the most cost-effective way to enjoy the 2016/17 campaign is with a Season Ticket. Adults tickets start from just £275, while Juniors can get theirs for FREE.
