Loan and Dual Registration Round-Up

Four young Warriors were out on loan/dual registration last weekend…

Wilhelm van der Sluys and Academy trio Afeafe Haisila Lokotui, Ben Fowles and Kailus Hutchinson were all in action across the lower leagues.

South African Van der Sluys travelled to Ireland with Rotherham Titans on Sunday but his side went down 34-3 to Munster A in the British & Irish Cup.

Winger Haisila Lokotui came off the bench for Birmingham Moseley as they took on Coventry in National League One, but they were narrowly edged 26-23 in the West Midlands derby.

Meanwhile, in National League Two North, forwards Ben Fowles and Kailus Hutchinson couldn’t prevent Luctonians from a 26-5 defeat at Stourbridge – although flanker Fowles did get on the scoresheet.

The National Leagues take a break over Christmas but in the Greene King IPA Championship, two Warriors will be going head to head on Boxing Day.

Van der Sluys, on loan at Rotherham, will come face to face with fellow Warrior Huw Taylor, who joins up with Doncaster Knights this week on dual registration.
