This weekend (April 28-30), all Aviva Premiership matches including Worcester Warriors’ game against Newcastle Falcons will be dedicated to Restart Rugby, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association.
Together we're aiming to raise £10,000 to help players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.
We’re also raising awareness for the #LiftTheWeight campaign which addresses mental health issues amongst players. One in four people in the UK will experience a mental health issue each year. Rugby players are no exception. Restart Rugby supports players and their families during their most difficult times through a 24/7 counselling service.
Tom Biggs, RPA Player Representative for Warriors said: “Join us and support Restart Rugby and help make a difference to our players when they lose the game they love.”
