Faosiliva commits future to Warriors

Samoa international Alafoti Faosiliva will continue his Sixways career after committing his future to the Club.

The 31-year-old arrived at Sixways last summer and has gone on to score two tries in 15 appearances.

Faosiliva spent much of his early career on the international Sevens circuit and was part of the Samoa side which won the IRB Sevens World Series in 2009/10.

The powerhouse then had a spell at European giants Toulon before spending three seasons with Bath Rugby.

Faosiliva has won 21 international caps for Samoa and made two appearances for his country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Warriors Director of Rugby Gary Gold said: “Foti is someone who possesses huge power and the ability to break the gainline so he is a fantastic player to have in our squad and we are delighted he will remain at Sixways next season.”

Faosiliva said: “I am delighted to be staying at Sixways as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Club. We are building a very good squad at Warriors and I am excited about the future.”
