Warriors trio in action this weekend

Three Warriors will be in international action this weekend in some big clashes across the globe.

Joe Taufete'e has been called up to the USA Eagles squad for their 2019 Rugby World Cup Qualifier against Canada at Torero Stadium in San Diego on Saturday (kick-off 11pm BST).

The giant hooker is named as replacement hooker for the Eagles who will look to defeat close rivals Canada, whom they drew with 28-28 last weekend in Ontario.

Former Warrior Connor Braid is expected to be among the Canada ranks once again having started at inside centre last time out.

Meanwhile Ben Te'o is on the bench for the British & Irish Lions who will hope to level the three-Test series against New Zealand at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday (kick-off 8.35am).

And Warriors back row Alafoti Faosiliva is expected to be involved for Samoa who battle neighbours Tonga on Saturday in Apia (kick-off 5am BST).

Ex-Warrior Cooper Vuna featured for Tonga against Wales a fortnight ago and could come up against his former teammate.
