Warriors set for crucial December clashes

Warriors swept to their first Aviva Premiership victory of the season on Saturday as they racked up four tries to defeat Northampton Saints and gain five valuable points.

The win saw Warriors leapfrog London Irish to move away from the foot of the table and close the gap on tenth-place Sale Sharks to seven points.

And Warriors now prepare to face their two closest rivals in the Premiership table during a tantalising month of rugby at Sixways.

Warriors begin December by hosting Sale Sharks under the Friday night lights on December 1 (kick-off 7.45pm).

Last season Warriors and Sale played out an exhilarating 34-34 draw as the tries flowed in the early stages of the season.

And Gary Gold’s men will be aiming for victory against a side they have not lost at home to since 2013.

Warriors then host London Irish in the Christmas Fixture on Friday 22 December (kick-off 7.45pm) in another crucial Sixways clash.

Irish were defeated 12-6 the last time they visited Sixways in 2016 and Warriors will be hoping to condemn Irish once again and give the home supporters an early Christmas present.

There will be a special Christmas theme on the day with reindeer in the Kids Zone and Christmas stalls including fairground darts, tin can alley and hook-a-duck as well as facepainting.

We’ll also have some exciting giveaways and the opportunity for children to take part in our half-time Christmas challenge on the pitch.

So come and cheer the boys on as they look to move up the Aviva Premiership table this December.
