Warriors players set for international action

Warriors duo Joe Taufete’e and Andrew Durutalo will be in action when USA take on Georgia on Saturday (kick-off 2pm GMT).

Taufete’e will start at hooker, while Durutalo has been named among the replacements.

USA will be looking to claim victory in their final Test match of 2017 after sweeping to a 46-17 win over Germany last Saturday, in a game which saw Taufete’e continue his scoring exploits by crossing the whitewash.

Meanwhile Ben Howard has been named in the England Sevens side for the opening tournament of the 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai on 1-2 December.

Drawn in Pool B, the experienced England group will play Spain, France and Scotland on day one.

The squad features a strong contingent of players who consistently competed on the World Series last season and were instrumental to England’s second place finish.

Elsewhere, Valkyries hooker Lark Davies has been named on the bench for England Women for their final Old Mutual Wealth Series Test match against Canada at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 5.40pm).

Her teammate Lydia Thompson has been selected for the England Women Sevens side for their opening leg of the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens series (November 30-December 1).
