Press Conference Notes

Warriors Head Coach Carl Hogg spoke to the media today ahead of Saturday’s European Challenge Cup game with Oyonnax at Sixways (kick-off 3pm).

Here’s what he had to say:

  • We were disappointed with the Sale Sharks performance last weekend as we lacked the accuracy we had in previous games.
  • The Aviva Premiership is relentless and there are no easy games. It’s the best competition in the world.
  • We must focus on ourselves this weekend.
  • Oyonnax have held on to possession for the longest period in the Top 14 and they’re also a very physical side so we expect them to play from all over the park.
  • We will change the group slightly this week and there will be opportunities for guys to put their hands up for Premiership selection.
  • Kurt Haupt could play while Jamie Shillcock may be fit.
  • There were a few knocks from the weekend but nothing significant.
