Miller & Carter December Player of the Month

It’s time to vote for your December Warriors Player of the Month, sponsored by Miller & Carter Worcester.

December was a busy month for Warriors, starting with a narrow home defeat to Sale Sharks at Sixways despite a try for the free-scoring Josh Adams.

Attentions then switched to European Challenge Cup rugby with back-to-back clashes against Oyonnax – the first of which came at home as Warriors picked up a bonus-point win thanks to tries for Tom Howe (2), David Denton and Luke Baldwin and 15 points from the boot of Sam Olver.

Olver was at it again away at Oyonnax with another 15-point haul in the snow, but he couldn’t stop the hosts picking up the win, although Warriors did come away with a well-earned bonus point.

A massive Premiership clash followed as London Irish travelled to Sixways but Warriors stepped up to the plate, with two Josh Adams tries and 13 points from Chris Pennell securing the win.

And last weekend saw us become the first team in the league this season to put four tries past European champions Saracens, although we were beaten 46-31 down at Allianz Park.

Adams and Denton were on the scoresheet again while Sam Lewis and Jamie Shillcock helped us secure another bonus point, to make it 18 points from our last six matches.
