Denton named in Scotland squad for 6 Nations

Warriors back row called up for Scotland

Warriors back row David Denton has been picked in the 40-man Scotland squad for the 2018 NatWest 6 Nations.

Denton, 27, already has 35 caps to his name and will be hoping to build on that when the 6 Nations kicks off once again next month.

The big back row has been in fine form for Warriors in recent months, having scored four tries in 13 appearances since making the move to Sixways in the summer.

He also picked up the Club’s December Player of the Month award after impressing in all five games during the final month of 2017.

And now his fine form has seen him recalled to the Scotland squad for the upcoming 6 Nations which kicks off on Saturday 3 February against Wales – where he could come up against fellow Warrior Josh Adams.

Denton previously played for Bath Rugby following a five-year spell at Edinburgh Rugby, where he started 74 of 79 appearances for the Scottish side.
