International Round-Up

Eight Warriors and Valkyries in international action this weekend

Eight Warriors and Valkyries players will be in international action this weekend as they look to impress on the big stage.

Warriors winger Josh Adams will get his second start for Wales after being named in their side to take on England at Twickenham on Saturday, where he could come up against Club teammate Ben Te’o, who is on the bench for the hosts.

Te’o will win his tenth cap if he comes on as England and Wales go head-to-head for top spot in the NatWest 6 Nations (kick-off 4.45pm).

David Denton’s fantastic Club form has seen him recalled to the Scotland matchday 23 to take on France at BT Murrayfield on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

The big back row is among the replacements as he prepares to make his 36th appearance for the Scots.

Elsewhere, Joe Taufete’e and Andrew Durutalo are named in Gary Gold’s USA side to face Canada on Saturday (kick-off 11pm GMT) as they do battle in the Americas Rugby Championship.

At age-grade level, Warriors Academy lock James Scott is named on the bench for England Under 20s’ clash with Wales at Kingston Park on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

Meanwhile, Valkyries duo Lark Davies and Hannah Bluck could also come up against each other as England Women take on Wales Women at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday (kick-off 12.15pm).

England hooker Davies is named on the bench as she prepares to make her eighth international appearance while winger Bluck starts for Wales after scoring on her debut against Scotland last weekend.
