Warriors Charity Golf Day raises £3,500 for Acorns Children’s Hospice

Annual Golf Day proves big success yet again

Warriors hosted their annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday at The Vale Golf & Country Club, raising a whopping £3,500 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Twenty teams took part on a beautiful, warm day in Bishampton near Pershore, as they competed in a stableford competition.

ISD Solutions won the tournament on countback after finishing on 87 points along with second-placed Reconomy UK and the third-placed Warriors Sales Team (representing Acorns).

Josh Bryan of Lawson Keys won the Nearest the Pin competition while Warriors flanker Marco Mama won the Longest Drive prize with his mammoth 310-yard effort.

Head of Commercial Leyton Williams said: “I’d like to thank The Vale Golf & Country Club for hosting a fabulous Charity Golf Day where everyone seemed to have a cracking day out in the sunshine.

“We’d also like to say a big thanks to sponsors Greene King, USN, Thatchers and City Signs for supporting the event and helping to make it a success once again.”
