Foundation staff taking on the Three Peaks Challenge

Foundation staff taking on challenge to raise money

Four members of staff from the Warriors Community Foundation will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this week to raise money for Guide Dogs and the Foundation.

Chris Stephenson, Simon Northcott, Dan Hart and Matt Jones will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland on Wednesday, Scafell Pike in England on Thursday and Snowdon in Wales on Friday.

They will be joined by Warriors Rugby Supporters Club Chairman Bob Low as they prepare to walk 42 kilometres with a total ascent of 3000 metres

Guide Dogs and the Warriors Community Foundation are two great causes which help blind people and disabled people get their lives, confidence, independence, self-esteem and fitness back on track.

Chris Stephenson said: “Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Warriors Community Foundation are both fantastic causes so we are all looking forward to pushing ourselves to our limits to raise as much money as we can.

“We massively appreciate the support we have already been given and we’re focused on making sure we can complete this tough challenge.”
