Ethan Waller, Wynand Olivier and Jamie Shillcock are set to make their first appearances of the season for Worcester Warriors in their opening European Challenge Cup Pool Two match against Stade Francais Paris at the Stade Jean Bouin on Saturday (kick-off 8pm BST, 9pm CEST).
Loosehead prop Waller will start against the Top 14 side having recovered from a shoulder injury with Olivier and Shillcock set to make their seasonal debuts off the bench following their return from injuries.
Centre Olivier, a World Cup winner with South Africa, has been sidelined for almost a year by a hamstring injury which required surgery earlier in the year.
Warriors have named a completely changed starting XV for the trip to Paris with all the players who started in the 52-7 win over Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership last Sunday being given a week off after their exertions in the first six weeks of the season.
Wingers Dean Hammond and Tom Howe, centres Ollie Lawrence and Ashley Beck, scrum-half Michael Heaney and back row forwards Matti Williams and Matt Cox will all make their first starts of the season.
Fly-half Jono Lance will captain the side with Head Coach Rory Duncan taking charge of off-field affairs for Warriors’ European and Premiership Cup campaigns.
