Warriors gear up for Pau’s visit to Sixways

It is anticipated that Warriors will field a strong side when they return to Sixways for the European Challenge Cup match against Pau on December 15 (kick-off 3.00pm).

Warriors made a number of changes for Friday’s 21-6 defeat in France but are expected to be back at full strength for the return match  as they build for three Gallagher Premiership matches over the festive period against Northampton Saints at Sixways on December 21, Saracens at Allianz Park on December 29 and Bath Rugby at Sixways on January 5.

“The guys who have been starting regularly over the last six weeks have had a short break. Physically they need a rest and mentally it’s always good to recharge your batteries,” said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

“They came back on Friday when we reviewed the Gloucester match and did some rugby and gym work while the other lads got the opportunity to show what they can do in the away game at Pau.

“We will be looking to play those who had a break last week in the Pau home match which leads into the next block of Premiership matches.”
