Valkyries’ latest signing Alisha Butchers is set to make her debut against Gloucester-Hartpury in Saturday’s Tyrrells Premier 15s match at Sixways (kick-off 2.00pm).
The 20-times-capped Wales back row forward joined Valkyries earlier this week and has been named as a replacement for their first match of 2019.
Butchers, who has joined Valkyries from Scarlets, is the sixth new recruit to join Valkyries in the past month.
Fly-half Megan Goddard, who rejoined Valkyries from Gloucester-Hartpury last month, will play against her former club on Saturday.
Former Firwood Waterloo flanker Katie Jenkins and ex-Cardiff Blues full-back Millie Williams will both start against Gloucester-Hartpury.
Valkyries Development XV will also play Gloucester-Hartpury in the second match of Saturday’s double-header at Sixways (kick-off 4.30pm).
