Three members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy will be furthering their rugby education in the Greene King IPA Championship or National One on Saturday.
Lock James Scott and back-row forward Tom Dodd will be playing for Hartpury College in their home Championship match against Doncaster Knights and winger Alex Hearle will be playing for Birmingham Moseley in their National One match against Old Elthamians at Billesley Common.
The trio are on dual registrations which allow them to gain valuable experience of senior rugby while developing their skills at the Three Pears Warriors Academy.
Scott recently trained with England Under-20s having been named in their squad for this season’s Under-20s Six Nations and the World Rugby Under-20s Championship in Argentina in May.
Dodd will be making his comeback after a lengthy injury lay-off having made his first Warriors appearance of the season as a replacement in the European Challenge Cup win over Stade Francais in Paris in October.
