Warriors trio to help Hartpury’s relegation fight

Three members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy will be helping Hartpury’s fight against relegation from the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

England Under-20s lock James Scott, back row forward Tom Dodd and tighthead prop Joe Morris have all had spells on dual registrations with Hartpury this season and will line up together at Ealing Trailfinders this weekend.

Scott returns to club action having played for England Under-20s against Wales at Colwyn Bay last weekend.
Morris rejoins Hartpury at a particularly busy time as he is preparing for his finals at Oxford University.

But with Hartpury short of props this weekend Morris has agreed to take a break from his studies to help out the Gloucestershire club with whom Warriors are developing strong links.

Morris, Dodd and Scott have all been named as replacements for Hartpury for the trip to Vallis Way.

Hartpury are currently bottom of the Championship but only on inferior points difference to Richmond.
