Youngsters enjoy day at Warriors Schools Tag Festival

More than 240 youngsters from across Worcestershire took part in a Warriors Schools Tag Festival at Sixways.

The popular event, run by Warriors’ Community Department, attracted 24 teams from 15 county schools for the day-long event on the Cummins Farm pitches.

Holy Redeemer won the Years Five and Six competition and St Andrews took the prize in the Years Three and Four tournament.

The schools who took part were: Holy Redeemer, Abbey Park, Finstall, St Andrews, Carnforth, Whittington, Perrywood, The Grove, St Josephs, Cherry Orchard, Oasis Warndon, Pitmaston, Sytchampton, Witton Middle and Oldbury Park.
