Five Warriors Women have been included in England Under-20s’ squad for Sunday’s final match of the Tri-Nations Cup against Canada at Loughborough University.
Full-back Carys Cox, wing Cara Clarke and loosehead prop Akina Gondwe, who were all try-scorers in last week’s victory over USA, retain their places in the starting XV with prop Lauren Leatherland again among the replacements.
Centre Megan Varley, who started against USA, received a late call-up to the bench on Sunday morning.
Sunday’s match will decide the competition as Canada also beat USA at Loughborough on Wednesday.
England Head Coach Jo Yapp has brought `Connie Powell, Florence Long, Anya Richmond and Beth Wilcock coming into the starting XV in changes from last week.
“Everyone has worked really hard this week both on and off the field and we are really looking forward to the challenge ahead,” Yapp said.
