Warriors announce Stowford Press as Official Cider Supplier

Warriors have appointed Stowford Press as the club’s Official Cider Supplier.

Stowford Press is made less than 25 miles from Sixways at Westons Cider Mill in Herefordshire and Warriors are delighted to partner with a local company.

“Westons, like Warriors, are a proud local company with strong roots in their community,” said Warriors Operations Director Peter Kelly.

“Many of our supporters work for local companies and we believe that, wherever we can, we should support those companies.

“We are delighted to partner with Westons, through the Stowford Press brand, as our Official Cider and we hope that our supporters enjoy sampling this quality product.”

Westons are the oldest leading independent cider maker in the UK with more than 135 years of apple expertise.

At Much Marcle, Westons make premium award-winning ciders, of which Stowford Press is no exception. The fruit is harvested from a 50-mile radius of the cider mill and once blended, the juice is matured for up to 19 months, to give the cider that special character.

“We are delighted that Warriors have chosen Stowford Press as the club’s Official Cider,” said Holly Chadwick of Westons.

“Warriors are one of the leading sports clubs in our area, competing at national level in the Gallagher Premiership and in Europe in the European Challenge Cup.

“Sixways Stadium has plentiful bars from which Stowford Press and Stowford Press Mixed Berries will be sold and we hope that supporters and visitors to the stadium enjoy drinking our award-winning cider.”
