Sixways set for Modus Challenge Cup

Royal Grammar School  Worcester will be seeking to complete a hat-trick of wins in the Modus Challenge Cup when they meet the old enemy, King’s School, in the annual schools showpiece at Sixways on Wednesday October 23 (kick-off 7pm).

The fixture regularly attracts one of the biggest crowds for a schools match in England and the old rivalry ensures that matches are keenly-fought on the pitch and passionate off it.

Twelve months ago RGS emerged as 31-13 winners, their biggest victory since the Modus Challenge Cup was introduced in 2007.

Scrum-half Olly Witcomb, a member of last year’s winning RGS team, will captain the side this time as they attempt to retain the cup.

King’s will be captained by number eight Hamish Stigant who was a replacement 12 months ago.

Tickets for the Modus Challenge Cup match can be purchased here.

Tickets will also be on sale from the Ticket Office at Sixways on the night of the match.
