Morris set to return from injury lay-off

Warriors scrum-half Callum Morris is set to make his comeback from a stress fracture of the back in Stourbridge’s National Two North match against Scunthorpe on Saturday.

The former Wales Under-18 international played for Stourbridge twice last November but was then sidelined by injury for the remainder of the campaign.

Morris has now regained fitness and has rejoined Stourbridge on a dual registration from the Three Pears Warriors Academy.

Morris has been named as a replacement for Scunthorpe’s visit to Stourton Park with his Warriors team-mate Noah Heward at full-back.

Two more members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy will start for Birmingham Moseley in their National One match against Canterbury at Billesley Common on Saturday.

Morgan Monks will start on the blindside flank with Oli Morris, a summer recruit by Warriors from Saracens, in the centre.
