Warriors full-back Scott van Breda has joined Guinness Pro-14 side Isuzu Southern Kings on a two-match loan.
Van Breda has linked up with the South African side in Glasgow where they are preparing for Friday’s match against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun.
Van Breda will remain with Southern Kings next week when they travel to Wales and face Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday November 9.
He will then return to Sixways ahead of Warriors’ opening European Challenge Cup match against Enisei-STM in Russia.
“This is an excellent opportunity for Scott to get some valuable game time in a competitive environment,” said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.
Van Breda, who joined Warriors from Jersey Reds in the summer of 2018, played his formative rugby for Eastern Province and represented the Kings between 2012 and 2015. He then moved to Western Province and also appeared for Stormers in Super Rugby.
