Join the Foundation XV and support your local community

The Warriors Community Foundation have launched their Foundation XV giving an exclusive group of 15 businesses or individuals the opportunity to make a difference in the region.

In return for a donation of £3,000 the Foundation XV members will enjoy a range of benefits including free tickets to selected Warriors home matches, promotion in selected match programmes, promotion on Warriors social media pages, use of the Foundation logo for business purposes, a free invitation to the Foundation dinner, a signed Warriors shirt, lunch with high profile players, an invitation to an exclusive Foundation open day and a regular Foundation newsletter.

Last season the Foundation supported more than 7,500 people across the region with a huge range of projects from their award-winning Tackling Dementia Sports Cafes to their homeless rugby programme.

As the official charity of Worcester Warriors the Foundation aims to support a further 10,000 people this season and are looking for the support of local businesses and individuals to help them achieve this.

The Foundation currently relies completely on external funding, grants and donations to deliver their impactful projects and the launch of the Foundation XV scheme will allow the charity to support more people by opening a further dementia cafe and delivering further education projects to young people who are not in education, employment or training.

Carol Hart, Head of Warriors Community Foundation said: “We are absolutely delighted to be launching our Foundation XV scheme.

“The support of local businesses and individuals will make a huge impact to our charity and the people that we support. I would like to say a huge thank you to the businesses that have joined the scheme so quickly and I look forward to welcoming more partners in the coming weeks.”

The initiative has already attracted great interest with a number of businesses already becoming members including Inco Contracts, Wates and Thompson AVC.

Chris Ingram, Managing Director of Inco Contracts said: “We are all about creating a better surrounding for people, that’s our business.

“With this in mind, we recently found out about the fantastic work being undertaken by Warriors Community Foundation and we have great pleasure in joining forces with them.

“This is an amazing Foundation specialising in working with young people who feel like they don’t fit in and have physical and/or mental health issues. It really is truly inspirational and we can’t wait to start getting more involved.”

The Foundation are on the search for further partners to join the new scheme over the coming months.
