“Every donation of food or toys – no matter how small – can help to prevent someone going hungry this Christmas or a child waking up to an empty stocking.”

Warriors Community Foundation is also looking to provide warm clothing and non-perishable food products.

The Foundation has also teamed up with Maggs Day Centre. Dan Hart of the Foundation has been helping to cook breakfasts for the homeless and to help source food products for the centre in Deansway.

As well as providing a good breakfast, Hart is always looking to recruit new players for the Warriors Homeless Rugby Team and the club’s HITZ Programme.

Hitz is an education and sport initiative for anyone aged between 14 and 16 who is not in education, employment or training.
