Warriors Community Camps return for Easter holiday

The popular Warriors Community Rugby Camps will return during the Easter holidays next month at seven venues across the region.

The camps include one at Stow-on-the-Wold RFC from April 14 to 15 which has been rearranged after waterlogging forced a postponement last month.

King Norton RFC will host the first of the Easter camps on April 6 and 7 followed by Hereford Academy on April 7 and 8 and Evesham RFC on April 8 and 9.

The second week of camps will visit Shrewsbury RFC on April 14 and 15, Berkswell & Balsall RFC on April 16 and 17 and Old Swinford Hospital School in Stourbridge on April 16 and 17.

There will also be an All Girls residential camp at Bromsgrove School from April 6 to 8.

Led by Warriors Community Coaches, the camps will have a heavy focus on developing all participants’ handling, decision-making and evasion skills as well as covering aspects specific to the different age grade regulations.

Each of the camps will include visits by Warriors or Warriors Women players, subject to their training commitments.

The day camps are for six to 13-year-olds but 14 to 16-year-olds are welcome in groups of five or more. The All Girls residential camp at Bromsgrove School is for 11-16-year-olds.
