A message from Solly

Everyone at Warriors is disappointed that the Gallagher Premiership season is taking an enforced break but we fully support the decision to postpone all matches until April 20.

The Coronavirus pandemic poses a threat to public health that has not been experienced in recent times and it is only sensible that all steps are taken to prevent its spread.

When lives and livelihoods are under threat it would be wrong to continue playing rugby and continue playing sport and exposing our supporters, players and staff to unnecessary risk.

In the short term the players, coaching and support staff have been given a short rest period away from the club.

All players have been given individual training programmes before resuming full training ahead of the hoped-for return to action against Bristol Bears next month.

We will continue to be guided by the advice of Public Health England, the UK Government and Premiership Rugby and all staff will adhere to the latest medical advice on the disease.

We hope that you and your families all stay safe during this challenging and worrying time and look forward to playing in front of you at Sixways again as soon as possible.
