Coronavirus FAQs

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has left Warriors, other professional sports clubs and the wider community facing many challenges.

Our staff are attempting to address complex issues in a situation that is fluid and fast-changing.

What we do know is that all Premiership Rugby fixtures have been postponed for five weeks until April 20 and all Warriors Women matches until April 14.

We will update supporters and visitors to Sixways when appropriate. Our staff are on hand to assist during this period of uncertainty.

In the meantime we hope that the information below will answer most of your queries:

Is the club still open for business?
No. Reception is now closed and the majority of staff are working from home with access to emails. Please direct any queries to: hello@warriors.co.uk not the club’s main switchboard.

When do you expect the postponed matches to be rearranged?
At this stage no dates have been fixed for the postponed matches. We will be guided by advice and instructions from the UK Government and Premiership Rugby as to when it is safe to resume fixtures.

What happens if I have purchased tickets for the Gloucester Rugby and Harlequins matches and won’t be able to attend the rearranged fixture(s)?
Tickets already purchased for those matches remain valid for the rearranged date. In the event of a game being postponed, all tickets will be valid for the re-arranged date. No refunds will be given unless the fixture is completely cancelled. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to retain their ticket for the re-arranged fixture.

Will Season Ticket Holders be refunded for the postponed fixtures?
No. These fixtures have been postponed – not cancelled – and all Season Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates.

Will corporate hospitality bookings be refunded for the postponed matches?
No, the matches have been postponed not cancelled and bookings will be honoured on the dates for the rearranged fixtures. Please click here for our Terms and Conditions for further information. All queries regarding hospitality should be sent to: VIP@warriors.co.uk

Will seasonal hospitality box holders, Business Lounge and EBC XV Club members be refunded?
As only some fixtures have been postponed those memberships will remain valid for the rearranged dates later in the season.

Is the Ticket Office open?
No. Ticket Office staff along with the majority of other staff are now working from home on Government and medical advice. We shall, however, be responding to all queries submitted to: hello@warriors.co.uk
We have suspended the sale of tickets for the affected matches pending further advice from the UK Government and Premiership Rugby.

Is the Sixways Store open?
No, we are closing the store during until April 20. Supporters can still make purchases online by clicking here 

Is Sixways open for other events?
All events that there were scheduled to take place up to, and including April 23, have now been postponed.

Is the Warriors Charity Golf Day at Celtic Manor on April 29 still going ahead?
Yes, that event is still scheduled to take place subject to UK Government medical advice.

Are Warriors Community Rugby Camps over Easter still going ahead?
No. Following the decision of the RFU to suspend all rugby activity until April 14 we have postponed the Easter Camps. We are working with all the relevant people at Premiership Rugby, The RFU and host schools and clubs to see when we can rearrange them. Bookings for places on the Easter Camps will be valid for the rearranged date.

Are the players still training?
The players, coaches and rugby support staff have will be at home for three weeks. During that period there will be no weekly media sessions. All scheduled appearances by Warriors players until April 20 will not take place.
