Warriors back-row forward Morgan Monks has been National One’s Young Player of the Year in the National Clubs Association Awards.
Monks, who is in his first season on the Three Pears Warriors Academy, has spent most of the season playing for Birmingham Moseley in National One on a dual registration.
Although Moseley found themselves facing a battle against relegation for most of the season – before it was curtailed by the Coronavirus pandemic – his consistent performances were a highlight of their campaign.
Monks, who was promoted from the Junior Academy at Sixways, impressed playing for Cavaliers in last season’s Premiership Rugby Shield and made his senior debut for Warriors in the European Challenge Cup victory over Enisei-STM in Krasnodar in November.
