Niall Annett shortlisted for Gallagher Community Player of the Month Award

Warriors hooker Niall Annett has been shortlisted for the Gallagher Community Player of the Month Award.

With Gallagher Premiership Rugby currently suspended there has not been any action for three weeks to allow the expert judging panel to select their Gallagher Premiership Rugby Player of the Month for March based on on-pitch performance.

So, together with partner Gallagher, Premiership Rugby are renaming this award as the Gallagher Community Player of the Month – to find and applaud the Premiership player who has had the made the biggest social contribution to their local community in March.

Annett has led a group of Warriors players plus physio Dan Walton in helping out collecting/delivering for housebound fans and also being available on the end of the phone to chat to those who are on their own.

Warriors’ Community Foundation team has also been keeping in contact with those who would normally attend the weekly Tackling Dementia Sports Cafes at Sixways and in Kidderminster to provide them with some form of social engagement.

To vote for Niall Annett all you need to do is head to the Premiership Rugby App, click “Polls” and vote for your favourite before 10am on Tuesday  April 14.

If you haven’t already downloaded the FREE Premiership Rugby App then click here for details of how to get it on your device here.

The player with the most votes for their contribution to community will then receive courtesy of Gallagher:
• A shirt signed by all the players from their Gallagher Premiership Rugby club to donate to a local charity of their choice
• A donation to their local food bank or local NHS trust
• The Gallagher Premiership Rugby Player of the Month trophy
