Ryan Bower joins Leicester Tigers

Warriors loosehead prop Ryan Bower has re-joined Leicester Tigers ahead of  the resumption of the 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership season.

Bower arrived at Sixways from Leicester six years ago and made 105 appearances in a distinguished Warriors career.

His landmark 100th appearance came when he led out the side for the European Challenge Cup match against Dragons at Sixways last December, becoming only the 24th player to reach a century of appearances for the club.

“I am really pleased for Bowser that he has secured a spot at his former club, Leicester Tigers,” said Warriors’ Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

“Bowser is a good bloke, who has made a valuable contribution to Warriors over a number of years. He will always be welcome here at Sixways and we wish him all the best in his new venture.”

Bower, 29, made his debut for Leicester in 2010 and also had two spells on loan with Nottingham in the Championship during his first spell with Tigers.

He made 27 appearances in his first season with Warriors and topped that with 31 in the 2017/18 season.
