Warriors Rugby Camps return for half-term holiday

Warriors’ popular Rugby Camps will be returning during the forthcoming October half-term holiday at Sixways and Bredon Star RFC.

All activities at the camps will be run in accordance with RFU guidelines to ensure a safe and socially-distanced environment for participants and staff.

The camps will focus predominantly on the non-contact skills of handling, decision-making and evasion/spatial awareness. Other elements, including kicking and contact management, will be covered where appropriate.

The Rugby Camps will be held at Sixways on Monday October 26 and Tuesday October 27 and at Bredon Star on Wednesday October 28 and Thursday October 29.

The camps will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and be divided into three groups – under-7s and under-8s Tag, under-9s, under-10s and under-11s and under 12s, under-13s and under-14s.

There will also be an All Girls camp at Sixways on Tuesday October 27 and Wednesday October 28 (9.30am-3.30pm) with two groups – under-11s to under-13s and under-14s to under-16s.

In addition Warriors Community Rugby Department will be running a Multi-Sports Camp at Sixways on Thursday October 29 and Friday October 30 (9.30am-3.30pm).

This camp will include a variety of sports including football, rugby, cricket with a focus on the developing fundamental movement skills such as running, throwing and catching.
