Lawrence retained by England for Ireland clash

Warriors’ centre Ollie Lawrence has been retained in England’s 25-strong squad for Saturday’s Autumn Nations Cup match against Ireland at Twickenham (kick-off 3.00pm).

Lawrence won his second cap when he made his first start for England against Georgia last Saturday and played the first 60 minutes of the 40-0 win in their tournament opener.

But Warriors Club Captain and blindside flanker Ted Hill is among the players who have been released from England’s training camp at the Lensbury in Teddington.

England will play Wales at Llanelli on Saturday November 28 in their final pool match of the new competition before returning to Twickenham for a placing match on Sunday December 6.
